The most important person in coaching is you. Having
said that I believe that if you are to trust me you need to know
a bit about me.
My career history is varied – a degree in Philosophy and
English then a graduate training scheme with British Gas in Cardiff.
I then moved to London and worked in various senior corporate roles
before ‘seeing the light’ and starting my own business.
A change of pace resulted in a move to Worcester where I now live
with my husband who is a teacher and our three daughters. I spent
time working in the voluntary and public sectors before setting
up my coaching practice.
I trained as a life coach with the renowned
Curly Martin of Achievement
Specialists.
I am actively involved
in my community – a past trustee
and current volunteer mentor with a local charity, active in Women
in Rural Enterprise and other community activities.
I like ... cups of tea, reading in the garden, walking
with friends, the X factor, cheese sandwiches, pelicans, change,
shutting my front door, company, being on my own ... I don’t
like ... un-necessary plastic bags, teenagers
saying ‘I’m good’ instead of ‘I am well’,
Thai food, windy weather, mobile phones being on all the time,
the chuckle brothers ...
